Mark is Founder and MD of Insight Gravity. Mark is a recognized leader in the development of knowledge services, with over 20 years’ experience innovating in this space. He is formally global COO of 10EQS Answers, a ground breaking collaboration and open innovation platform that addresses complex customer questions via crowd-solving, where he employed the Lean Start-Up methodology. Mark was previously VP EMEA of Wood Mackenzie, a global leader in commercial research across the extractive industries, and a pioneer in bespoke research and knowledge-based consulting services.
Mark has executed hundreds of complex research projects for organizations such as Shell, ExxonMobil, Petronas, EMC, Lockheed Martin, GE, Brambles, EQT, Nalco Champion, Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y and the World Bank. He is a member of the Institute of Consulting and Chartered Management Institute as well being an active member of the World Future Society. Mark lives with his wife and family on a smallholding in rural Scotland.

Jack Coory
Managing Director (Spain)
Jack is a freelance business analyst and innovation consultant. He has over 8 years of experience working on research and growth-related projects for a number of leading companies including Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y, Samsung, GE and Brambles. He also regularly collaborates with European machinery manufacturers to establish go-to-market strategies for new products. Jack lives in Spain with his wife and young daughter.

Javier Grávalos
Business Development
Javier is responsible for Business Development of Insight Gravity Spain. He has more than 15 years of experience in research and innovation management and in strategic new product development and process optimization. He has worked in industrial multinational companies focusing on growth across the entire value chain, from laboratory work, project and resource management, industrial scale-up, marketing of new products, relationship with external partners, start-up mentoring and investment, as well as strategic planning. He has implemented lean work, and stage-gate methodologies, carrying out processes of transformation of the conventional structures of R&D, to accelerate the processes of development and to reduce the risks related to the market launch of the new developments.

Isobel McEwan
Senior Associate
Isobel is a freelance management consultant with a background in corporate finance, research, innovation and business mentoring. Previously she had a 20+ year career with four international banks – Standard Chartered, Barclays, RBS and Fortis (a Belgian bank since acquired by BNP Paribas). For the last 10 years of her corporate career she was a Corporate Director in RBS and the UK Sales Director for Fortis Lease where she led four UK divisions to deliver asset finance sales of £2bn per annum. She has a wealth of experience across many industry sectors and since being a freelance consultant she has delivered numerous diverse projects for the public, private and third sectors including an innovation workshop for the British Embassy in Athens, innovation consultancy for City & Guilds International, numerous public speaking engagements and mentoring CEO’s and entrepreneurs in the media and PR industries. She lives between her homes in south west Scotland and Andalucia, Spain where she was also President of her Spanish residential community.

Aruna Pavithran

Aruna is a freelance management consultant and industry analyst. With over 20 years’ experience in professional services, Aruna has played leadership roles in achieving important strategic outcomes for leading organisations around the globe, such as Exxon Mobil, Caltex, BHP, Petronas, GLNG, Coles Myer, Siemens, Accenture, Deloitte and the Australian Government. Her recent accomplishments have been in knowledge services, where she holds a distinguished record of delivering rare and impactful business intelligence, powered by her expertise in Web 3.0 systems and complex implementation. Aruna lives in the Gold Coast of Australia and is also a professional yoga instructor and classical Indian dancer.

Gottfried Dutine
Innovation Advisor
Dr. Gottfried H. Dutiné is a senior executive advisor. During his international career he has served for more than thirty-five years in C-level positions in major international companies. His leadership roles have included Board Member and Chief Innovation Officer at Royal Philips Electronics, CEO of Alcatel SEL AG, Area President Middle- and Eastern Europe, Russia and Central Asia and Vice Chairman Telecom Board Committee at Alcatel. Prior to that he was President of the Mobile Communications Division at Robert Bosch GmbH and Group Director Product Operations of Motorola.
His scope of business experiences is expansive and comprises Consumer, Automotive, Telecommunications, Healthcare, and Lighting. Key elements of his professional successes include Business Management, Innovation Management including Start-Ups and Venturing, Strategy and New Business Development, Risk Management, Joint Ventures, M&A, and Emerging Markets.
Throughout his career Dr. Dutiné has been involved in a number of industrial and governmental activities. A. o. he was Board Member ZVEI (association of the German Electrical and Electronic Industry), Co-Chairman of the European-Russian Industrial Round Table, member of EACEM (European Association of Consumer Electronics Manufacturers), Transatlantic Business Dialogue, and Singapore Infocomm International Advisory Panel. He has also been Chairman, Vice-Chairman and member in several supervisory boards. He also overviewed a number of joint-ventures, mostly with Asian companies.
He holds a Ph.D. degree in Communication Technologies and was awarded the honorary title of Senator h.c. by the University of Technology, Darmstadt/Germany in 2001.
